Will Lange studied tree surgery at the Kingswood training centre in Kent in 2016. Since qualifying, he has based his tree surgery and firewood business at a small farm just outside Barnstaple.
The wood is harvested locally in Devon from responsible sources. These include dead or dangerous trees, woodland thinning and highway maintenance. No trees are unnecessarily cut down simply to supply firewood.
Seasoned logs are dried naturally for over a year. For customers who prefer especially consistent low moisture, kiln dried hardwood is available at around 15% moisture.
